# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • No one expects a drink to taste like childhood and look like a party in a glass.
  • It's so easy, but always gets cheers at birthdays and backyard gatherings.
02 -
  • Cotton candy vanishes faster than you think—assemble floats just before serving or you'll lose the showy effect.
  • Trying different lemonade flavors completely changes the vibe—and strawberry lemonade with pink cotton candy is unexpectedly refreshing.
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for ten minutes—drinks stay icy longer and the ice cream floats better.
  • Stir gently if the cotton candy doesn't fully dissolve, but don't overmix—the layered look disappears if you do.
