# Method:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
02 - Cut in cold unsalted butter using a pastry blender or fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
03 - Stir in grated sharp cheddar cheese and finely diced jalapeños until evenly distributed.
04 - Gradually pour in whole milk, mixing until a soft dough forms. Avoid overworking the dough.
05 - Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat to approximately 3/4-inch thickness.
06 - Using a donut cutter or two round cutters about 3 inches and 1 inch in diameter, cut out donuts and holes. Re-roll scraps and repeat as needed.
